Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are located in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. This makes us a great option for anyone in Lancaster or Berks County experiencing a decrease in quality of life due to a neurological event.

  • 70% of the information your brain processes is related to the visual system. During any type of neurological event, the visual system can be impacted in several ways. There are several other systems such as the vestibular and proprioceptive systems that work closely with the visual system. When one is impacted often times the others are as well.

Simply put, neuro vision therapy works to improve how the eyes move, how they work together, how the brain processes visual information, and how all other systems function together.

  • Neurological Vision occupational therapy combines traditional vision therapy with neuroplasticity concepts, sensory modulation principles, and the unique OT lens. This allows us to truly treat and understand the whole person. We can focus on helping you to return to activities and roles that are most meaningful to you!

  • Each session will have a focus on your goals. You will participate in oculomotor exercises, Neuro visual postural therapy (NVPT), vestibular integration, balance training, visual perceptual training, multi-sensory processing, and more.

Each session will also review past home exercises, add new ones and/or upgrade current ones. This helps to empower you to keep progress moving forward while not in the clinic.
